Since I’ve been neglecting my mix-making duties, because of a combination of laziness/fam drama/school…I’m posting this “compilation” I threw together a while back.
Throwing this up mostly because I caught a glimpse of a Twitter convo between @SporTech, @Rizzmiggizz, and a few other folks.
As an aside; when the whole Nas vs. Jay-Z thing was at it’s height, I was 100% in Nas’ corner. Up to that point, I had always enjoyed Nas’ work more than Jay’s. Then Kelis + “Street’s Disciple” kind of started a swift decline in quality…and I started to appreciate Jay’s consistency. Plus, “Fade To Black” is a fantastic movie. And I’m willing to forget that any sort of collaboration albums with R.Kelly ever happened.
Also, @Kno’s remix of “Lucifer” is one of the greatest Jay-Z songs ever.
